M. Barnett 1 | EPPOG | April 2006 Portraits Description: David Quarrie, Co- manager of offline software with Dario Barberis; Software Project Lead and Chief Architect. He finds very satisfying, when it works, to persuade a large and diverse group of physicists and software engineers to produce robust and coherent software. David and his wife teaches Scottish Country Dancing. At his office, he keeps an humorous reminder that his task, like spotting a flying pig, is a difficult one.
