Mission Seekonk SEPAC Special Ed Parent Advisory Council The mission of the Seekonk Special Education Parent Advisory Council is to support all students with special needs and their families by working to: create a network of parents of children with special needs and provide a forum to share information; create partnerships among parents, students and educators; provide resources for parents to help children with special needs be successful in school, outside school and beyond school; promote communication and programs within the schools and community to encourage understanding, acceptance and inclusion. What is SEPAC? Seekonk Special Education Department
SEPAC is a group of Seekonk parents with children with special needs who meet several times during the school year to share information and experiences and to support one another through our journey. We welcome new members to join us, sometimes enjoy a speaker, and meet new friends who share your hopes and challenges. The mission of the Seekonk Special Education Department is to prepare students with disabilities to be functional members of society by providing them with specialized programs, individualized services, and highly-trained personnel in an appropriate, least restrictive environment. Parents Advisory Council Vision Statement Seekonk SEPAC’s vision is to service the individual needs of the families with special needs students and provide resources and support through open communication between parents, staff, administration and the school community while establishing a high expectation for all.
