Properties of Air Foldable

(if starting with Zuber’s legal-sized paper, otherwise ignore this step) Take blank piece of paper, make a fold 3 in from the bottom, then cut that 3 in off. Then fold it in half top-to-bottom (hamburger style) Unfold it, then cut along the fold so you have two equal-sized pieces Make a fold 3.5 in from the edge of one piece Make a fold 4 in from the edge of the other piece Insert the second piece into the first to form your foldable!

Front Square The front square gets your title: “Properties of Air”
Draw any pictures you want that represent “air” to you (maybe the wind or clouds, other things you might find in the atmosphere)

1st Flap - Mass With your foldable closed, write “Mass” on the exposed 1st flap. Open the 1st flap and include Definition of mass Fact: air is made of atoms & molecules of gases Answer: what happens to mass with increased altitude? Draw picture: maybe scale with ballon on pg 10, or this  N2 CO2

2nd Flap - Density With your foldable closed, write “Density” on the exposed 2nd flap. Open the 2nd flap and include: Definition of density Formula for density Answer: What happens to density as altitude increases? Picture: Maybe picture on pg 14, or one of these 

3rd Flap - Pressure With your foldable closed, write “Pressure” on the exposed 3rd flap. Open the 3rd flap and include: Definition of pressure What do you measure air pressure with? Answer: What happens to air pressure as altitude increases? Picture: maybe pic on pg 11 and/or 13, or these 
