EDIT is being further developed
New features planned Feature 1 Remote EDIT validation service for confidential data 2 Integration of specific functionalities of the external trade validation system 3 Lead & Lag Analytical Functions 4 Bulk export/import of EDIT domains 5 Building a content validation service based on EDIT (2016) Main question is if EDIT could become a CSPA complaint content validation service for the ESS.

Shared Services project and STRUVAL
ESS.VIP.SERV creates conditions to share statistical services in ESS Defining governance to share services First example: Structured Validation Service (STRUVAL) STRUVAL was defined according to CSPA guidelines STRUVAL is currently in Test for Eurostat STRUVAL will be available first for ESS members in the NAPS-S project (by end of 2015)

Validation Ruleset Repository Prototype
Developing a central repository where validation rules can be shared in the ESS Repository will be equipped with a graphical user interface that helps to define and manage validation rules Prototype is being developed and will be available in Q1 2015 ESTAT will ask ESS members to review the Prototype
