2. History
ICEAA was formed by the merger of the International Society of Parametric Analysts (ISPA) and the Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis (SCEA) in November 2012.
ISPA was created in 1979 when more than 300 analysts and managers assembled in Washington DC to promote parametric methods in cost analysis
SCEA was formed following the merger of the National Estimating Society (NES) and the Institute of Cost Analysis (ICA) in NES was predominantly an industry association and ICA was predominantly a government association

3. Mission Statement
The International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association is a 501(c)(6) international non- profit organization dedicated to advancing, encouraging, promoting and enhancing the profession of cost estimating and analysis, through the use of parametrics and other data- driven techniques.

Collaboration Facilitate live and virtual collaboration with current members at the chapter, national, and international levels, as well as with potential members from academia, industry, other professional organizations and federal government entities.
