6 Steps to the solution Stand alone DPM or integrated with rabies mass vaccination programmes DPM programmes tailored to location, the characteristics of the dog population and the attitude the community has towards dogs Individual or multiple countries working together Model programmes to influence others

7 The role of World Animal Protection
To form long term partnerships with governments and other stakeholders. Workshops/programme planning facilitation. Training – Vets and catching teams. Provision of DPM information/education resources. Facilitate visits to model DPM programmes. Technical advice (holding facilities, surveys, equipment, evaluation) Build our evidence case (document process) of each programme.
