4. WHAT IS TESSELATION?
A tessellation is the tiling of a plane using one or more geometric shapes, called tiles, with no overlaps and no gaps.
Normally, tessellations are created using the repetition of regular polygons. The most common would be using squares and rectangles.
The surface is usually separated in square grids and rectangular grids.

5. MATERIAL REQUIRED
Ivory sheet, 2H grade pencil, eraser, sharpener, ruler and pencil colors.

6. STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED – Take A3 size Ivory sheet.

Take A3 size Ivory sheet.
Prepare a 4X4” cm. square with the help of 2H pencil and ruler.
Distribute all grids equally on sheet, like remain is done previously.
After making grids, design a tessellation by dividing the points either in 1cm. or 2 cm. .

7. Ensure the measurement should be correct and symmetrical.
To produce more enhancement in geometrical drawing, it is necessary to treat with the colours in a balance way.
As each part of the tessellation required its formation, complete it with pencil colours.
