Who Benefits from Mentoring?
Benefits to Students having an additional, caring adult in their lives. students have a chance to explore interests, practice relationship skills, gain greater self-confidence and simply experience the undivided attention of a caring adult Benefits to Mentors The satisfaction of being an important presence in a child's life is a significant reward. Working with a young person is a creative process, and a fun one.

Lunch Periods 6th 10:43-11:13 7th 11:31-12:01 8th 12:19-12:49 Background Check ** Make sure to choose “VOLUNTEER” ** Make sure to choose Strickland or Fred Moore 2. Google Form online 3. Spreadsheet once your name is highlighted, enter your first visit date

Meeting with your student
Please don’t bring lunch for the entire lunch table – only your student. Always sign in as a volunteer in the main office Contact is limited to school hours or school activities Please dress appropriately! Field Trip April 6th! Call before you come

ASK QUESTIONS…..to get to know them! LISTEN Encourage them in their education! Talk about college! No social media, texting, etc. Maintain good boundaries -- Be professional! HAVE FUN!
