3. Sign Up
If you are interested in chaperoning our field trip this year, please sign-up outside your child’s homeroom on the sheet. Your clearances must be on file at the Ed. Center in order for you to chaperone. Signing up doesn’t guarantee a spot, but we will do our best.
Volunteering in the classroom
Junior Achievement sign-up is outside homeroom doors as well.

4. Edline
Grades will be posted here weekly, unless no assignments were graded that week. Please check your child’s grades at least once a week.

6. Materials
Students will be provided everything they need to be successful in fifth grade
Some students do wish to have binders to keep their materials organized. That is completely up to you and your child.
There are online textbooks available for math, science, and social studies. There will be a letter with information on how to access them. Keep that letter the entire school year. You never know when you will need it.

8. Procedures Wednesday Folders
Take Home Folders-check nightly and clean out regularly
Planner Sheets
Absences - a paper listing your child’s assignments will be completed the day of the absence(s) and placed in your child’s mailbox in his or her homeroom
Lunch is at 11:15 this year
Recess is at 11:45
Educational Trip Forms can be obtained in the office
Excuse Blanks must be returned within three days of absence

October 26th-End of the 1st marking period

10. Sign-In
Please make sure you sign your name and your child’s name on his or her homeroom teacher’s paper in the hall.

11. Pop into Reading
Go and visit the library to meet Mrs. Livingston and get some great information about our Reading team at PV!
Also, enjoy some popcorn!
