Overview A partnership with industry trainers and higher education
A collaboration of academia, workforce development agencies, labor organizations, and industry to develop direct pathways from training to employment, education, and career growth Program completers may earn college credit for the training Direct path into apprenticeships for employment opportunities available in many mega-projects underway and planned throughout Southern California

Program Objective The primary objective is to prepare participants to join the CUES workforce and begin a lasting and growing career based on a foundation of high-quality training and education.

The CUES Program provides:
Core competency/safety training programs Training for military, veterans, youth, and dislocated workers Employment and career advancement multi-crafts - construction, utilities, and energy sectors. Employers with a pre-screened, qualified, and trained workforce Funded through local, state, and federal grants no cost to the participant or the employer. Offers recruiting, training and job placement Ongoing support to both the students and employers.

Coastline Community College Pre-Apprenticeship Program
Participate in union boot camps and entrance exams, eligible for union apprenticeships and employment in CUES jobs Recei ve college credits : Coastline Community College, rated best public community college by Huffington Post Multi-Craft Core Curriculum(MC3) Industry Partners: Skansa, Kiewit, Dragados, Chevron, Aegion Energy, & more 124 Hours 3 ½ Weeks Job Readiness: Soft Skills, Interviewing Skills, Resume Building Training Related Job Placement .

Multi-Craft Core Curriculum
Coastline and its training providers are authorized by the National Building and Construction Trades Council to teach the nationally recognized MC3 curriculum Opens the door to apprenticeships in all of the Trades Pathway to a career in through one of the Building Trades ( ie: Laborers, Plumbers, Painters, Electricians, Iron Workers, etc)
