Example: Herbivore= An animal that only eats plants. Example: Herbalife= A global nutrition and weight company.

8 “Hetero” Prefix “Hetero”- of or pertaining to an atom other than carbon, particularly in a cyclic compound. Example: Heterogeneous= Different in kind; unlike Example: Heterotroph= An organism that cannot fix carbon for growth.

9 “Homo” Prefix “Homo”- Same
Example: Homogeneous= Composed of parts of or elements that are all of the same kind. Example: Homogenization= any of several processes used to make a chemical mixture the same throughout.
