1 INTRODUCTORY PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY
Hello everyone. Welcome back to campus, are you guys ready for the first day of this semester? First thing first, this is the Introductory Physical Geography, GEO Hopefully everybody here is in the right classroom. For those who suppose to be here but got lost. I’d lecture about how important that sense of direction is to geographers, but since they can’t hear me I’ll save it to some other time. For those of you, who are because of the good fame of Dr. Peter Waylen. I am sorry I am not him. Dr. Waylen has been promoted to the Dean’s office of College of Art and Science as associate dean. Congratulations to him. So I am taking over this course this semester. But if you want to see him during this course, there is a picture of him in the book we are using. Since I am taking over his course, I am gonna use most of his materials in this course. In a way, you are pretty much learning from him but you are learning through my Chinese accent instead of his British accent. Instructor: Yu Wang
