The Real World The reality is that the Great Leaders of God all had one thing in common: They were people of Prayer. Look back over any list and you will see this one common denominator: Prayer. We all know it is vital to our own growth as Christians. As C.S. Lewis once declared: “ I pray not to change the situation but to change me.” But if you ask most men if they pray or even more telling how long they pray daily you would be shocked by the response. Most of us do little praying and that is why you see little change in us as Men of God. Today lets take a look at what God wants to work in us.. Prayer and its effect on us..

Real Talk Do you have a Heart that Obeys? What stops you?
Do you have a Heart that Prays? What stops you? How do you get to where God wants you to be?

Real Steps So what will it take for me to develop a heart that prays?
Time – In the Morning, Lunch , Night Pick one that is best for you. Place to pray – When on a Walking or in the Shower or at the Office. Pattern -Learn by doing. Start and build on it. After a few weeks it gets easier. Lifestyle – 1 Thess. 5:17 – Pray continually. It becomes a habit. Some Advice: Build a habit - 5 minutes a day to start. Do not bite off a goal you cannot keep. Priorities - Start with you and your family. Then go to others. Wait on God - Try asking God who to pray for and wait for him to lead

Time to Close Wanted - A Man! What we lack and sorely need, For want of which we bleed, and bleed, Is men of a more Godly breed… Honest men in highest places; Men with single aims and faces; Men whose nobler thought outpaces Thought of self, or power, or pelf… Men whose axes need no grinding; Men who are not always minding First their own concerns, and blinding Their souls’ eyes to larger things.. Men of wide and Godly vision; Men of quick and wise decision... Men whose souls have wings.
