“Lamb to the Slaughter”
Grab a Chromebook, sign in, go to my website, and open the document underneath today’s date: “LambToTheSlaughter-Text”. We’re going to read “Lamb to the Slaughter,” a short story by Rohald Dahl (the author of Matilda and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). All you need to know is that it’s about a husband and wife, and it’s set in the 50s, where housewives were expected to behave in a certain way. Honestly…the less you know going in, the better. Let’s read!

“Lamb to the Slaughter”
For the rest of class, respond to the reading questions on your half-sheet handout. Once you’re finished, look back through your work. Circle your best three answers – the questions you took your time with, responded in length, and provided textual evidence for. I’ll give you more points if I’m impressed with your answers Once you’re finished, feel free to work on your IXL for this week: F.2
