2 Figure 1 Depicted are 587 associations for 76 human diseases. Each association is plotted as its genotypic relative risk by the risk allele frequency in controls (both on log10 scale). The insert shows the 10 diseases with the greatest numbers of associations. Red crosses show findings for neurological disorders (Alzheimer disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, essential tremor, multiple sclerosis, narcolepsy, and Parkinson disease). Psychiatric disorders are indicated with plus marks including autism (blue), mood disorders (green), and schizophrenia (fuchsia). All other biomedical disorders are shown by gray dots.
