6. Criminal Sexual Conduct
1st Degree – Max. penalty is life imprisonment

2nd Degree – Max. penalty is 15 years imprisonment
3rd Degree – Max. penalty is 15 years imprisonment

Body language & clothing are NOT consent.
A person under the heavy influence of alcohol or other drugs is NOT legally able to give consent.

14. What To Do If You Are Sexually Assaulted
Get SAFE! Get to a safe place away from potential danger.
Tell a person you trust what has happened. You don’t have to go through this alone.
If you choose to have a forensic evidence collection exam it is encouraged that you DO NOT:
Rinse, drink, wash, or shower
Change clothes or the environment where the assault occurred.
