TOMS User Logon Process for 2017–18
An individual TOMS user could only have one user role, and the user role had to be the same across multiple organizations. If a user had a role in multiple organizations, he or she was given the highest role access to all associated organizations. In some instances, giving the user the highest role access for all organizations raised local security concerns. In order to have multiple different roles across different organizations, the user was required to have more than one logon ID. 2018–19 TOMS User Improvements and Help Site

TOMS User Logon Process for 2018–19
Users will have the ability to log on with a single user logon ID and password and toggle between the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) TOMS. Users can access multiple roles during logon with one logon ID. This functionality will be available September 4, 2018. 2018–19 TOMS User Improvements and Help Site

Changes in User Upload [File Specifications] tab:
Specifications for the “ Address” and “Role in Organization” fields are updated in the “Acceptable Value” column. The “Delete Role” value will be removed from the “Role in Organization” drop-down list, and column G will be added to specify if the role must be deleted from the system. [User Upload Template] tab: One user ID can be associated with multiple roles and organizations. The user is able to delete a role by using the “Delete Role” column. 2018–19 TOMS User Improvements and Help Site

User Upload Rules User will be able to upload the roles that are lower in the hierarchy. For example, a local educational agency (LEA) CAASPP coordinator can add the test examiner role, but a test site coordinator cannot add an LEA CAASPP coordinator. User cannot upload the same role as his or her own. Multiple add and delete actions can be performed for the same user ID via the same upload template. One or multiple roles can be associated to one or multiple organizations in a single template. 2018–19 TOMS User Improvements and Help Site
