Around the room are pictures and/or primary documents from the Great Depression era in the United States At each poster analyze the image- you are looking for the PROBLEMS IN SOCIETY during the Great Depression Please be detailed in your responses

5 Think, Pair, Share Name your favorite commercials from the Super Bowl. Name all the problems of the Great Depression from the gallery. Have students list the problems from the images. Add any students miss.

Problem Dust Bowl: an area of the Great Plains of the U.S. that suffered severely from wind erosion during the 1930’s Causes: 1.Overfarming (economic) 2. Drought (environmental) 3. Wind storms (environmental)

11 Important Note All of these factors together made what started as just a recession turn into the worst economic depression the United States has ever experienced.
