3. Disassembly

4. Step 1: Remove Small Cover
1) Loosen and remove 4 sets of screw (M5×10, inner hex) with plain washer (Φ5) and spring washer (Φ5). 2) Remove the small cover.

5. Step 2：Remove Actuator (1)
Loosen and remove 2 sets of screw (M6×25) with plain washer(Φ6) and spring washer (Φ6).

6. Step 3：Remove Actuator (2)
1) Loosen and remove 2 sets of screw (M6×25) with plain washer (Φ6) and spring washer (Φ6).
1) Loosen and remove 2 sets of screw (M6×25, inner hex) with plain washer (Φ6) and spring washer (Φ6).
2) Remove the actuator.

7. Step 4：Remove Butterfly Pin
Remove the butterfly pin with a pair of nipper pliers.

8. Step 5：Remove Pulling sleeve
Remove the rack-connecting pin from the pulling pin sleeve.

9. Step 6：Remove Mid Housing
3) Remove the mid housing and scrap paper gasket and the seal on each side.
2) Loosen and remove 2 sets of screw (M6×25, inner hex) with plain washer (Φ6) and spring washer (Φ6).
1) Loosen and remove 4 sets of screw (M6×25, inner sex) with clamp CA2-02, plain washer (Φ6) and spring washer (Φ6).

10. Step 7：Remove Rack-Connecting Pin
1) Loosen and remove 2 sets of plain washer (Φ5), spring washer (Φ5) and screw (M5×12, inner hex).

2) Remove the rack-connecting pin.

11. Assembly

12. Step 1：Install Rack-Connecting Pin
Fuel injection pump end surface
2) Install 2 sets of plain washer(Φ5), spring washer (Φ5) and screw (M5×12, inner hex). Tighten the screws to 7 N·m.

1) Install the rack- connecting pin.

13. Step 2：Install Mid Housing
1) Install the mid housing.
2) Install 2 sets of plain washer (Φ6), spring washer (Φ6) and screw (M6×25, inner hex). Tighten the screws to 7 N·m.
3) Install the 4 sets of clamp CA2-02, plain washer (Φ6), spring washer (Φ6) and screw (M6×25, inner sex).
Tighten the screws to 7 N·m diagonally.

14. Step 3：Install Housing Gasket
Hang the paper gasket on the housing.

15. Step 4：Install Pulling Pin Sleeve
Use a pair of nipper pliers to hold the end of connecting lever of the actuator, pull it out for some distance and install the rack- connecting pin into the hole.

16. Step 5：Install Butterfly Pin
Use a pair of nipper pliers to hold the butterfly pin and put it into the pin hole. The butterfly pin must be in its place.

17. Step 6：Install Actuator (1)
1) Install the actuator with the new paper gasket in the right place.
2) Install 2 sets of plain washer (Φ6), spring washer (Φ6) and screw (M6×25). Tighten the screws to 7 N·m.
3) Install 2 sets of plain washer (Φ6), spring washer (Φ6) and screw (M6×25, inner hex). Tighten the screws to 7 N·m.

18. Step 7：Install Actuator (2)
1) Install 2 sets of plain washer (Φ6), spring washer (Φ6) and screw (M6×25).
2) Tighten the screws to 7 N·m.

19. Step 8: Check Swing Arm movement
Push the actuator swing arm to check if the movement of actuator and rack linkage free from any resistance. Check the shutdown stop to see if it is perpendicular. Push the actuator lever to check and make sure that when the shutdown stop is at any position, the actuator connecting lever can return to its starting position smoothly if turning the shutdown handle.

20. Step 9: Install Small Cover
1) Install the small cover and install 4 sets of plain washer (Φ5), spring washer (Φ5) and screw (M5×10, inner hex). 2) Tighten the screws to 4 N·m diagonally.
