DE-PLAN PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
To detect high risk individuals for T2D in the general adult population (screening phase) Feasibility & effectiveness of lifestyle interventions (diet & physical activity) for primary prevention of T2D in high risk individuals (intervention phase)

FINDRISC 8 questions about: age, BMI, waist, physical activity, diet, hypertension, history of high glucose values, family history of diabetes Predicted 10-year diabetes risk with 78% sensitivity and 77% specificity Lindström et al. Diabetes Care 2003;26:
