3 Many of the people living in the regions trace their ancestry to the Europeans. Additionally, many people trace their ancestry to other nationalities of people who immigrated into the region. Ancestry and Heritage

4 The province of Quebec in Canada is unique in that its citizens speak French and have a French culture while the remaining Canadian region is English speaking. The people of Quebec have often expressed a desire to separate from Canada. Therefore, Canada has struggled to maintain a national identity. Quebec
