IS A NEW YORK STATE LAW THAT PROMOTES CIVILITY, CITIZENSHIP, TOLERANCE, RESPECT AND ENSURES STUDENTS IN SCHOOLS WILL BE SAFE FROM HARASSMENT AND DISCRIMINATION

Race refers to classifying people based on physical characteristics.
New York State Public Schools will be an “environment free of harassment, bullying, and/or discrimination…based on a person’s actual or perceived race.” -NYS DASA LAW Race refers to classifying people based on physical characteristics.

SAY SOMETHING, LEND A HAND
Our school is inclusive of all students of all races. Our words and actions towards one another matter and verbal or physical discrimination will not be tolerated. Always be respectful and welcoming. If you are being harassed or discriminated against based on your race or if you see it happening to someone else, speak up and do not be a bystander. SAY SOMETHING, LEND A HAND
