LUCA Update This phase of LUCA is complete – thank you for participating Next phase will be Summer 2019 – Census feedback Keep Title 13 materials secure until after feedback process PSAP coming soon – Participant Statistical Areas Program Chance for local governments to have input on redefining Census geography for tracts and block groups; done in GUPS Invitations sent out in July, Program starts January 2019 BAS 2019 – city boundaries used in 2020 tabulations

Statewide Imagery through GA GIO Imagery Program High-resolution statewide imagery tile service available to all  government entity employees in Georgia - details and FREE registration  Contractor registration also now available To help secure ongoing funding to maintain and update imagery beyond the pilot of this Program- share your success stories if your office has benefited from use of the imagery – either by government employees or through the work of a contractor – please recount your achievements to help us make the case for additional, ongoing funding.

2019 Aerial Photography/LiDAR cooperative Imagery purchase opportunity through Georgia Mountains RC Letter of interest by September 15 4 band, 3” or 6” inch imagery Same vendor –Atlantic - and specs as GMRC Contact: Faith D Bryan, GISP | Director of Information Services (770) – Office If more is needed from imagery beyond the 3 band tile service Georgia Mountains Regional Commission is reaching out to you today to gauge your interest in participating in a cooperative Aerial Photography/LiDAR flight.  This flight will take place in conjunction with the USGS 3DEP LiDAR flight.  USGS chose the same vendor to fly the LiDAR project as the GMRC Council approved to fly our 2018 Aerial Photography Project.  Attached to this is a map identifying the counties that will have QL2 LiDAR (digital elevation) acquired for the USGS project.  If your County is considering an aerial photography flight, GMRC can get pricing for either 3” or 6” pixel resolution photography.  This photography will be flown to the same specifications as our 2018 project.  Also, if your County is not included in the USGS project and you are in need of LiDAR, GMRC can get pricing for that project as well. If interested in participating, please fill out the attached Letter of Interest and return to me via by September 15.
