5. In 1988, the share of a median household’s income devoted to higher education was 22 percent; in 2011 it was more than 50 percent.
Demand for college degrees continues to grow, even in light of demonstrated evidence that there is not sufficient demand for existing college graduates in the workforce.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics:  
The current youth (ages 16-24) unemployment rate is 19.1 percent-
the highest on record since data collection began in 1948.
College can be a means of getting where you want to go,
but in order for it to work effectively,
you have to have some idea of where you are heading.

Analyze the expected growth in that job over the course of the next 10 years.
Balance out the expected education with the expected wages from having a job like that.
