public sale by auction
animal given to shelter or nonprofit
animal destroyed
owner ordered to pay “court costs”

Determine estimated costs to house/care for animal during appeal
Set appeal bond: amount of court costs + estimated costs to house/care
Deliver record to CCCL by 5th day after bond filed
CCCL must hear case by 10th day (jury allowed)
