1. Archaeology We went on an archaeological dig
What they are looking for is things from the past
What they find is sent to university to tell them were about in the past it was used and how old it was
We were shown around the site.

2. Archaeology sieve
This is a picture of the big sieve that is used for the things in the piles of soil and stones
Some things that our found like pottery might fit together like I know the archaeology people did

3. Site Afterwards This is a picture of part of the site after the dig
The site now has lots of humps and bumps Kev says they are called earthworks
The site now is different

4. In the tent This is a picture of inside the tent
In the tent the keep all the things they have found in the sites
If you look carefully you might see some of the finds on the table

5. Measuring the Trenches
When the have dug so many centimeters down they have to measure the site
In this picture the lady is drawing and the man is telling her the measurements
