Common Animals and A Rare One
Rock squirrel In Central Texas there are many common animals such as the Mexican free-tailed bat, rock squirrel, pronghorn antelope, white-tailed deer, many more. These are just a few of the common animals, but the Texas blind salamander is the rarest out of all the animals and is only found in Central Texas. Land features Limestone Enchanted Rock Granite Edwards Plateau
The land features in Central Texas are Llano Uplift and Edwards Plateau. A cool thing to know about these landforms is that the Llano uplift has granite, while the Edwards Plateau has limestone. Limestone = caves, which means the Edwards Plateau region has a bunch of caves. Also there is the Balcones fault zone located in the Edwards Plateau region and the Enchanted Rock. Wind The wind in Central Texas has an average of 10.3 MPH. This is an average wind and it is a gentle breeze. It is enough to rustle leaves, but nothing unusual. This is very normal.
