2. Game Set Up
Boys will play against boys and Girls will play against Girls
Courts will be labeled by letter
Middle courts boundaries are BLUE lines
Side courts boundaries are RED lines
Schedule will be posted- Captains check
3 games per day (Time permitting)
Winning coach will report their victory to be recorded

3. RULES 3 v 3 or 4 v 4 (Depending on class size)
Baskets are worth 1 point unless taken behind line for a 2 point shot—Call the score after every basket
Play starts at the foul line (blue line/red line)
Possession is determined by ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS

4. RULES
NO make it take it-The ball changes possession after each scored basket.
Person or ball hits the line – out of bounds
After any out of bounds and made baskets the ball is taken out from the foul line extended.
Offense must make 1 pass before shooting
If this pass is behind the foul line-- respect it

5. RULES
If a shot touches anything on the basket (Rim, backboard or net) and rebounded by the defense, the ball must be taken out past the foul line extended. 
Offensive rebounds and “air balls” can be shot right away without going to the foul line.

6. RULES The player who is fouled is responsible for calling the foul.
Call your own fouls
The player who is fouled is responsible for calling the foul. 
The foul must be called immediately in a clear and loud manner and all action must stop. 
If the player is fouled while shooting and makes the basket, the basket counts (the foul is ignored) and the opposing team takes possession. 
Otherwise, the team that was fouled retains possession and the ball is checked in as usual.

7. RULES Tie Game Procedures Captains will Rock Paper Scissors
Winning Captain has choice of
1.  Choosing 1 of his team to shoot a foul shot
2. Letting the other coach choose one of his players to shoot a foul shot
3. Make you win……miss you lose

8. P.E. Basketball RULES Other things to know…. Stalling
Substitutions—All players must play at least HALF of the game (Subs wait by the bleachers under their basket)
When subs are called it’s a dead ball.
Calling Travel, Double Dribble, etc.
