Determining AACHC Legislative Agenda Executing the Legislative Agenda AACHC Legislative Advisory Committee Discuss needs, barriers and current issues that need to be addressed Review legislative agendas of partner healthcare groups with similar needs and goals AACHC Board Approval of Legislative Agenda for current session Propose legislation Draft Bills with legislator Find Sponsors Work closely with Legislators, Governor’s office and key staff members from state agencies Meet with key legislators on the bills/ AACHC agenda Testify on bills in committee Engage Members Weekly updates Provide Talking points “Request to speak”/ calls/ s Legislative reception Share unique aspects of individual CHCs Economic impact study (Capital Link)
