Week of: November 28th, 2016
*2 hour late start on Monday! We will be putting up our classroom Christmas tree this week. Students are welcomed to bring one non-breakable Christmas ornament from home! I’ve sent home a handout regarding the “remind” app. This is a way of communication where I can send out reminders through text message. Please return the bottom portion of the paper back to school with your student and I’ll be able to start a class group.
Third graders worked very hard on the Topic 5 math test – I’m so proud of them! We will begin Topic 7 on Monday which focuses on representing and interpreting data.
We are onto the last lesson in Unit 2. (Lesson 10)

In Social Studies, we will learn about all of the Presidents. Students will eventually get to pick a President and write a short report. In Science, students will finish up the Solar System.
