Whilst the angels are obedient to God, they also possess intelligence and reasoning.
For instance, the angels wondered about the purpose of the creation of humanity.
Following the creation of Adam God taught him the names of all things. He then asked the Angels to name these things but they could not. When Adam spoke and told them the names God commanded that the Angels worship Adam.
