She wrote that men and women should have equal rights… …and that people become bad because they are not loved by their parents when they are young She died when Mary Shelley was a baby. She went to a school for women. She worked as a teacher and a baby sitter. William Godwin Mary didn`t receive a formal education, but her father taught her many subjects, so she was educated like a man. He wanted her to become a writer. He wrote about politics. He strongly believed that women should go to school like men. She was taught that women and men were equal and could do the same things, but many people didn`t think so during her life. Her mother wrote about that too.

Percy & Mary run away for six weeks
Explain that they ran away together for 6 weeks and traveled around Europe. Then they returned to her home and learned that Percy`s wife died. He and Mary get married and then travel to Geneva, Switzerland.
