Summary The School for Good and Evil is about two girls named Agatha and Sophie. Sophie and Agatha are polar opposites. Sophie likes pretty pinks things while Agatha prefers dark things. With their school being so obvious, it was a shock to everyone at the School of Good and Evil that Sophie was placed in the School of Evil and Agtha placed in the School for Good. The girls face many trials that almost break their friendship but in the end Agatha and Sophie show the School for Good and Evil that Good and Evil, witches and princesses can be friends.

PLOT DIAGRAM Sophie and Agatha go to the forbidden School Master's tower and are told that the only way they can get home is if they solve a riddle. Sophie befriends Agatha while they are still in Gavaldon in order to show the School Master that she's Good. Agatha tries to convince Sophie to help her figure out a way to get back home. Sophie disagrees until her "prince" begins to hate her Agatha and Sophie solve the riddle and find out the answer is love. Agatha goes through a lot to help Sophie get her "prince" Tedros and when Sophie gets him to ask her to the Ball, Agatha realizes Sophie's plan was to get her prince and not go home Sophie is enrolled into the School of Evil and Agatha is enrolled into the School of Good Agatha and Sophie become friends again, and realize the love is in their friendship when Sophie risks her life to save Agatha from the School Master. Then they finally go home to Gavaldon. Agatha and Sophie get kidnapped by the School Master

Th School for Good and Evil takes place first in Gavaldon and then at the School for Good and Evil in the Endless Woods. The School for Good and Evil is set in an older time period.

Main Characters Sophie Agatha
Sophie spent her entire life dreaming of being kidnapped by the School Master, getting enrolled in the School for Good, becoming a princess, and finding her prince. When Sophie is taken and enrolled in the School for Evil, and her so called friend Agatha is enrolled in the School for Good, Sophie begins to blame Agatha for all her problems. Agatha grew up an outsider. She loved bloody, gruesome things and often ended fairy tales with horrible deaths. She was all alone, until she met Sophie. Anyone who met Agatha considered her a villain, so when Agatha was enrolled in the School for Good Sophie and Agatha couldn't believe it. Agatha knew Sophie was mad at her and to make sure Agatha kept her only friend, her goal was to find away to get back to Gavaldon where a witch and a princess could be friends.

The School Master places Sophie in the School for Evil and places Agatha in the School for Good. When they learn they can't switch schools they have to solve a riddle to get back home to Gavaldon. Conflict
