11. Conclusion
In the presence of tumor-pairs GSTT1 expression, invasive showed a significant association in UTUC in mid-Taiwan, which could be a biomarker for prognosis prediction (such as the invasiveness of the tumor or survival).
The genotypes of GSTT1, GSTM1 and GSTP1 could help in cancer prediction for UUT-UC and maybe also in therapy decision in the near future.
Further investigation with larger sample size in addition to genotype-phenotype correlation and intracellular mechanisms are our future work.
