Celebrations Over 22.5 million dollars in scholarship money - 16 & 17 Grads 2016 & U.S. News & World Report & Newsweek- “America’s Best High Schools” Top 25 Schools in Arizona Public School 543 AP tests taken by 280 students 83% of the AP tests taken earned 3 or better Dual Credit: 230 Students Earned Dual Credit last year. Freshman orientation on the day before the first day of school:
Freshman Transition A high school transition program that welcomes freshmen and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their high school experience. At CVHS, each Link Leader is assigned a partner and 8-10 freshmen who will be your link crew all year long. Counselor Visits Group Visits:
Counselors will meet with students each year through one of their academic classes to go over an ECAP presentation and activities. Individual Visits: Counselors meet with each student one-on-one during registration to go over course selections and credits. We will ensure students are meeting graduation requirements and selecting classes that meet their personal future goals.
