Responses: Very informative meeting Excellent presentation by Deloitte with the 10 year plan Presenter Anne Phelps was able to explain MACRA to us in a way that made it understandable and relatable to our jobs. there was very little real information. Just a "big picture" of what is to come.

Responses: mic was not working, so back of the room it was difficult to hear him Prefer to kick off quickly and put expert speakers on first Dr. Yeracaris is always a good presenter. Very clear and informative. I have heard him speak before so didn’t feel I learned anything new. Good to know that CTC, as an organization, is driving/supporting this work for RI

Responses: Interesting- good speaker-entertaining Gus continues to tell us ahead of time that which we do not wish to hear but is destined to become a reality. We should listen closer. Demonstrated history and future from payer perspective.

Responses: Good information, but did not stand out. No new information was given. Very slow talk

Overview and Implications of MACRA: Presenter: Anne Phelps
Responses: Timely and needed more time. She was excellent. Very few are prepared and understand this most will talk away thinking they will succeed when few will Extremely relevant Presentation was delivered in a very clear, concise, and relative manner. Highlight of the morning the MACRA presentation was smart, crisp, informed and to the point….. Extremely relevant-priceless Clear to the point As clear as these complicated topics can be-well done. Not really sure how it will be as a value, would love to really know impact for federally qualified health centers. Very interesting and helpful but Felt she injected anxiety into the subject. All doctors are anxious about this so calmer disposition about this might help health care providers more. Very valuable - - could have her back as there is very little MACRA knowledge penetration amongst providers I am not a medical provider but I found it very confusing. I got the sense it caused added confusion and anxiety to single provider practices. I can trust that our organization is already working on these items but for others probably not. Invaluable--allows organizations to start to plan their approach to CMS regs (MACRA) Wish this was available as a regular update/topic for our group(s)

Suggestions for Future Topics
Continued follow up on Medicare related payment models/standards Continue Anne Phelps talk or similar. Different models of acos. "The noncompliant patient" Now that we are all graded on Diabetics and their control, Hypertensives and their control, etc. the noncompliant patient is even more frustrating than in the past. How to manage, are doc's discharging patients for noncompliance? Is this ethical? My numbers would be great if I discharged the noncompliant patients. (I don’t, but I struggle with this issue) Future of CTC: Purpose and relevance in an evolving and emerging healthcare environment. Crosswalk - Reporting requirements and compliance with CTC Measures - as compared to all other funders/payers, such as, but not limited to: UDS; HRSA; RICCC; All Payers; Department of Health; DHS; EOHHS; BHDDH; PCMH/NCQA; ACO Pilots; and all new Primary Care/BH Initiatives. How do we as very busy primary care practices streamline functions, processes and procedures associated with redundant and overlapping requirements set by all of the above, and avoid duplication of effort, increase cost efficiencies and achieve continuous quality improvement. CMS (MACRA) any updates? SIMS measures (and other local grant updates) TCPI (and how this ties into CTC work) Update on ogress toward new adding PCP's to join CTC's PCMH agreements Outside speakers (from other regions, with successful implementations)--e.g. Successful implementation of standardized Depression screening and follow up, work within evidence-based guidelines, and improve care delivery/outcomes for (all) populations--look at specific pain points locally, and seek inspiring presentation to drive local acceptance. Visit redesign; staff to provider ratio; making the EMR process work better Successful collaborations - with hospital, specialists, home care. Suggest having expert speakers go on first.
