It has no atoms,
and does not have mass or take up space.

ability to do work or CAUSE CHANGE
to matter.

5. Using Electricity
Ben Franklin showed
us electricity flows
through conductors
such as metal.

6. Lightning is WAY too strong to use for
electricity though...
It can actually knock out power lines by
overloading them with electricity!

7. Static electricity can be generated by
rubbing atoms against each other to
build an electric charge...

but this mini-bolt of lightning is usually
too small and quick to power anything!

8. To create a continuous supply of
electricity, we use electrical generators.
By keeping wires spinning against
magnets, a flow of electricity is created!
