Application Process changes
2017/18 2018/19 Written application by Club Chair with draft Club Development Plan attached. Three stage process: Written application Shortlisting for interview, taking into account: Attendance at Chair’s Workshops % of new committee ‘checking out’ Written application quality 20-30 minute interviews between Club Chairs and Club Development Team.

Club Dev Plan changes 2017/18 2018/19
Typically written solely by the Club Chair with little input from the other committee members. Achievement of goals normally the responsibility of the Club Chair only. Key aspects: Long term goal 3-5 short term goals Written collaboratively by the whole committee, and coordinated by the Club Chair. Achievement of goals is a shared responsibility. Club Chair has three ‘seasonal’ goals. Club Committee have one (maybe shared) goal for the full year.

Mentor:Club Ratio changes
2017/18 2018/19 Mentors had between 5 and 8 clubs. Club Development Officer also had clubs. Mentors will have between 2 and 3 clubs. Club Development Officer has no clubs.

How to apply Written application online Open now until midnight Friday 4th May Shortlisting based on Attendance at Club Chair Workshops % of New Club Committee that complete the Handover/Check Out Quality of written applications Short interview with Club Dev Team minute slot; 5-10 minute introduction/briefing, 20 minute interview with 2 members of the Club Dev Team
