Set yourself up a public account on ArcGIS (I can send you an with instructions on how to do this). Spend time exploring ArcGIS – play around with different layers, files etc. to produce maps showing trends with tectonic hazards. Anything that you’d like to present! Feel free to screen shot these, put them onto a word document and print them out (make sure all have clear titles. If you’re feeling particularly technologically savvy, you may decide to tweet what you’ve produced –

Hypocentre = point under the Earth’s surface at which an earthquake is generated. It can be at any depth between the Earth’s surface and about 700km deep
