1. accurately cite sources from various mediums. 2. support assertions with textual examples. 3. effectively deliver a presentation.

Part I Identify the five best qualities you believe to be non-negotiables in a leader.

Part II Next, we will evaluate this class’s five most important leadership qualities.

Present a leader who clearly fulfills our class’ definition.

Points Assessment Expectations 10 Presentation *Do you make consistent eye contact with the audience? *Do you pace your presentation appropriately? *Do you engage the audience effectively? Definitions *Do you define your five qualities in your own words? *Do you define your words in a phrase or a sentence? *Do you avoid repeating the word in the definition itself? Evidence *Do you use specific, effective, and accurate examples to connect your leader to your five qualities? *Do you use only relevant information? *Do you use appropriate images/video to further develop your claim? Works Cited Page *Do you use MLA Format? *Do you use a variety of sources? *Do you use reliable/appropriate sources?

In your own words, define our five qualities You can add more slides if necessary.

Slides 3-7: Character Slides (5 body slides)
1. Each slide has a class-chosen character trait word and at least one specific fact that relates to that leader’s connection to that trait 2. At least four images (chart, graph, photo, painting, drawing) related to the leader

Offer students an opportunity to ask you questions about your leader.
