4. John invites us to look at Jesus.

5. John speaks about his mission?
What is my Mission?

6. John says that Jesus is the “Lamb of God”.
He takes away the sins of the world.
We say these word at every Mass.

7. He also takes away our sins; Jesus makes war against sin.
Jesus is against sin.
He also takes away our sins; Jesus makes war against sin.

8. Is it possible to avoid sin
Is it possible to avoid sin? By ourselves NO, by the help of Jesus – YES –

9. We must hate sin but love the sinner; we pray for sinners.
We are all sinners.

10. Jesus, the Lamb of God sheds his blood for all of us because we are all sinners (from Exodus).

11. Jesus, the Lamb is not violent
Jesus, the Lamb is not violent. Jesus suffered without opening his mouth; He suffered in silence.

12. John shares four points about his mission about Jesus:

13. a) He comes after me but He is more important because He existed before me.

14. b) I, (John) did not know Him yet I came to reveal Him to the people of Israel and baptise them with water.

15. He who sent me to baptise with water said
“the man on whom you see the Spirit come down; He is the one (Jesus)”

16. d) I (John) have seen and I am witness, He is the chosen one of God.
