Agamemnon threatens to take an army to seize Briseis if Achilles does not surrender her.

Achilles blames Agamemnon for the couriers being there
Patroclus is ordered to bring Briseis out of the lodge

She rises from the churning surf and asks why Achilles is crying
Achilles explains that they raided Thebe and chose Chryseis for Agamemnon
Explains to her how Apollo forced Agamemnon to return Chryseis

The Olympians tried to chain Zeus down
Hera, Poseidon, Pallas Athena, Thetis broke the chains of Briareus, a monster with 100 hands who warred with the gods
