4. Creating a Check-In Offer on Yelp
Problem: Stores now have individual Yelp pages. When Clients find these, they are likely looking to find out more about the location and decide where to get their haircut.
Solution: TL’s can claim their Yelp pages and create incentives/offers to “Check-In” once a Client is on site.

5. Getting a Yelp BOA
Each store has a Yelp page.
To access the admin rights, a TL needs to sign up for free at

Access the Yelp page by logging in at

7. Yelp Dashboard
From the Yelp Dashboard, look for the “Check In Offers” tab on the left hand side

9. Check In Offer Types
First, determine which Check In Offer type you want: Percent Off, Price Off, Fixed Price or Free Item

10. Check In Offer Headline
Next, craft the Headline to match your offer and enter the amount of the offer

11. Check In Offer Optional Details
Next, craft the Details explaining your offer Note: cannot use special characters such as: $,&,’

12. A preview of the offer will appear.

13. Once satisfied, click the “Create Offer” button

From Yelp on a smartphone, view your location. Your new offer will be available.
Note: please make sure to confirm the offer code is in Salon Ultimate

15. Edit / Remove Offer
You can update the offer at your convenience. Just log into Yelp and access the “Check In Offer” tab from the Dashboard again.
