2 Summary of Text Allegory: An extended metaphor
The Rabbits tell the reader the colonisation story in Australia. The Rabbits are aggressive as they take over The Bilbies’ land.

3 Start The land is vibrant with colours. It is at peace – unharmed. The world is pure. The colour of the sky: SYMBOLISM - Heaven / Confidence / Tranquillity / Softness.

4 White Birds – Purity, Safety, Perfection and Innocence – the landscape cannot be contained as the birds fly around.  Freedom.

5 Blue Sky - symbolising stability and tranquillity
Blue Sky - symbolising stability and tranquillity. Wide Open Sky / Birds flying about – symbolising freedom.

Be wary of the invaders coming. Ship is huge to show their dominance (SALIENCE – most salient part of this image).
