3. Obstacles - No Representation
There is a lack of paintings created by women in museums.
Women make ⅓ of musicians but do not perform at special events in that same ratio.
Women shadowed by their husbands

4. Obstacles - No Representation/Racism
Paintings rarely depict anything but fair complexion
Tours in France didn’t mention anyone of color
People of color are not as successful, therefore others are not able to find a role model.

5. Obstacles - Underestimation
When a good piece of work is viewed, reactions are that of “a woman couldn’t have done that”.
Leads to name changing
Leads to no credit (no one will believe you did it anyway) 4

6. Obstacles - No Credit
Women in fields all over are striped from their work and do not recieve credit.

Women did not always have the same opportunities/resources.
Paintings portray women only doing one thing.
No time, must be mothers. Men never stopped to be fathers 6

Emergence of women in different field such as architecture and wine making
We now have classes that notify people of this reality
