3. Opening COREgen from Cygwin
Browse to H:\dos
Create a temp directory
mkdir Xilinx42
change to Xilinx42 directory

4. Opening COREgen from Cygwin (cont)
Run the following:
P:/Xilinx42/bin/nt/wincoregen.exe coregen.bat &

5. Create Project file
Specify project path
H:\cs536\corgen

6. Specify Project options

7. Select to Create a FIFO

8. Component Options

9. COREgen Data Sheet

10. COREgen outputs VHDL file for Simulation
Component_name.vhd

11. COREgen outputs .edn file for Synthesis
Add .edn to /syn/radxcv-2000e (build directory)

12. EMACS Port Copy Macros (Source file)

13. Paste as Component Macro (Structural file)

14. Paste as Component Result

15. Paste as Instance Macro

16. Specify Instance Name

17. Instantiate Component Result
