They ended up 8 national goals which needed to be solved in order to get SD happen in Finland and else where. Here are the titteles of the goals.
Our main objective is to ensure the well-being of people and the environment. At the same time, we want to provide new possibilities for growth of the economy. These national goals include all 3 dimension of SD in a balansed way.
Society’s commitment to Sustainable development is a shared interpretation of what sustainable development means to us, and now also what Agenda2030 means to Finland.
It gives companies a log term national vision, which is now also adopted by the government
To achieve a carbon-neutral and resource-wise, Finland the focus should be on improving the energy, resource and material efficiency and sustainably increase the share of renewable forms of energy. Finland must produce environmentally-friendly services and innovations, promote their exports, and develop low-emission economic sectors and transport models.
To secure non-discrimination, equality and a high level of competence in Finland, we must prevent youth and long-term unemployment, exclusion of various population groups, polarisation of labour markets, and segregation of living and residential areas. We must also reduce health disparities, promote gender equality, support lifelong learning, and raise the level of education and competence of the population. Non-discrimination includes equal access to services at the different stages of ageing.

Chapter 4 – Follow-up and review of implementation
Creates a linkage between follow-up & review and central institutions & procedures of the Finnish political system
Strengthens the accountability of the Government and the role of Parliament in the follow-up and review
Systematizes national follow-up and review procedures
Enables the participation of stakeholders in follow-up and review

8. Action point 4.2 of the Government Report
The existing collection of sustainable development indicators will be updated under the leadership of the Prime Minister’s Office, to ensure that they meet the follow-up requirements of Society’s Commitment to Sustainable Development, the national implementation of the 2030 Agenda, and this implementation plan.
Arrangements for a system that permits the multi-voiced interpretation of indicator data will be made in connection with the update.

12. A follow-up system that allows for multi-voiced discussion on interpretations - Summary
Platform for indicators and discussion at the website of Prime Minister’s Office
Rolling update of indicator baskets, all baskets will be updated once a year
Root interpretation will be made by the ministry in charge for the basket, bringing the changes in indicator values in the context of sustainable development.
Open multi-voiced discussion on changes in indicator values and their interpretations. What are the changes in indicator values telling us? What are the policy implications?
