Fields of psychology Psychology is a broad and diverse field. In recent years, a number of different subfields and specialty areas have emerged.

Fields of psychology Generally, Psychology as a discipline can be classified into two main branches. Theoretical and applied psychology. However, the boundaries between the two are not clearly determined.

Fields of psychology Theoretical psychology is a branch of psychology that focuses on the study of different sub-topics within psychology to expand our theoretical knowledge and understanding. It is also known as philosophical psychology. It deals with theoretical and philosophic issues of psychology

personality psychology, cognitive psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, etc.

Fields of psychology Applied Psychology: a branch of psychology concerned with solving practical problems of human behaviour by using the principles, methods and findings of psychological science.
