ESL Parent Meeting

3. Students come wearing their costumes---no masks, no blood, no violent accessories.
The Halloween parade and celebration will be on Tuesday, October 31.
Parents can drop off supplies in the office.
You are welcome to come to parade. The parade will begin at 10:45 and the celebration in the classrooms will follow.

4. What the law says we must do:
IRIP: Individualized Reading Improvement Plan. You may be notified if your child (K-3) will be getting this extra plan.
ESL group times (ELA and social studies)

5. ESL Progress Reports
ESL Progress Report for all Entering and Emerging students (levels 1-2)—students who receive services up to 120 minutes/day
Benchmarks in four domains: listening, speaking, reading, and writing
Report cards from classroom teacher and progress reports from ESL (if level 1-2) will go home right before conferences.

7. Parent-Teacher Conferences November 20th and 21st
Monday, November 20th and Tuesday, November 21st, from 1 – 4 p.m. and 5 – 8 p.m.
