(The base station push buttons are not labeled) Item Description 1 Activate the base station 2 Select SEL to select an option 3 EXIT from user options 4 Deactivate the Base Station ON OFF 1 2 3 4 The most commonly used buttons will be 1 and 4…to turn the base station ON and OFF.

Activating the Station
To activate the station, press and hold the left-most button (#1) until the following screen displays:

The normal operation screen appears:

Inserting the Detector
Lower the detector (alligator clip up) into the detector bay Push forward to ensure the top of the detector connects with the top of the bay. Close the lid and press until the release tabs click “CLICK”

When the detector has been inserted correctly, “UNIT INSERTED” displays on the base station LCD.

Bump Test A bump test is performed to confirm that the detector is responding to gas, and that the audio and visual alarms are operational. On the docking module, press BUMP CHECK The RUN LED lights yellow

The results of the bump test are displayed:
After the bump test is complete, the base station performs a final purge to clear any remaining gas. (the countdown of seconds remaining to complete purge)

The monitor has passed the bump test as indicated by the green light

Select OK

Squeeze the release tabs to remove the monitor from the base station

Turn the base station off
